iQualify UK has signed an academic progression agreement to give our LRN Level 7 Diploma in Business Management students entry on to the Cardiff Metropolitan University MBA Advanced Entry Route. This means that Level 7 Diploma holders simply need to complete two units (Research Methods and a Dissertation) from the University in order to obtain the MBA.
The Research Methods module is taught through blended learning with face-to-face contact on campus in Cardiff and live online interaction. Therefore international students for the tuition on campus in Cardiff will only need a UK short-term study visa (also known as short-term student visa) rather than a full UK student visa.
The MBA advanced entry route will take approximately five months to complete. For the first two months of the course, students will have a weekly contact session for the Research Methods module, followed by a three and a half month period for their Dissertation. Students have the support of a Cardiff Metropolitan University tutor. Each student will be allocated a supervisor for the dissertation following successful completion of the Research Methods Module. The interaction with the supervisor will be online and the supervisor will visit you for a face-to-case interaction as well.
The degree certificate is identical to the one issued to students who study full time on campus.
Successful students are invited to attend Cardiff Metropolitan University’s graduation ceremony in Cardiff.
You need to have the LRN Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (or another UK equivalent postgraduate diploma) plus a bachelor’s degree or five years’ work experience to be eligible for the advanced entry route, coupled with an adequate standard of English. All students are interviewed by the Programme Director.
